On the last day of May, the second part of the training on "Enhancing the Financial Capacity of Local Governments in Temporarily Occupied/Frontline Territories" began.
The training started energetically and actively. Community representatives discussed what needs to be done for development, as it involves many processes aimed at improving the quality of life for residents, strengthening economic potential, improving infrastructure, and creating favorable conditions for social and cultural development.
The event was made possible thanks to the reliable partnership of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine.
Trainer: Oleksandr Solontai, Head of the NGO "Agency for Reconstruction and Development," and expert at the Institute of Political Education.
The second day of training focused on practical exercises, and participants learned:
- where to find current sources for securing financial and other resources for territorial communities under martial law conditions;
- the specifics of working with international technical assistance programs for temporarily occupied communities;
- how to establish cooperation and implement projects for community development;
- concrete algorithms for using the resilient communities strategy for resource provision of reconstruction and development projects.
We believe that the knowledge gained will help you successfully implement your plans in practice. Stay persistent, and may your efforts bring tangible results!
