A special educational trip to Croatia (Zagreb, Vukovar) and the capital of Belgium (Brussels) was organized by the "U-LEAD with Europe" Program specifically for the representatives of occupied and de-occupied communities of Ukraine who are members of the Association of Unconquered Communities. Ukrainians had the unique opportunity to learn more about the available financial support tools for their municipalities funded by the EU and to meet with officials from various European institutions.

The key focus of all meetings was the prospect of securing funding to support occupied communities, a significant portion of whose residents have been displaced to territory controlled by Ukraine.

Future plans include:

  • Development of strategic community development plans in accordance with EU standards;
  • Establishing communication between the Association of Unconquered Communities and the Association of Regions of Spain to implement joint projects.

Together, we achieve more!
