A study visit of community representatives among our members to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Belgium will soon take place as a part of the European program "U-LEAD with Europe".

They will have an exceptional opportunity to learn about the European experience of restoring territories that were under occupation, develop international partnerships, learn about financial support instruments for their projects from the EU, and gain important knowledge on integration of the de-occupied communities into society in the government-controlled territory.

A study tour will last for 5 working days and includes meetings with representatives of municipalities and bodies working in the EU, such as the Committee of the Regions, the European Economic and Social Committee, as well as familiarization with the work of some European programs and funds.

A significant number of representatives of Ukrainian communities under temporary occupation applied for participation in the program. During a process of selection among applicants, the evaluation committee took into account an importance of projects that the respective community has already implemented, a significance of ideas that it plans to carry out in future, as well as participants' expectations of the trip.

As a result, representatives of the following communities will take part in the study visit:

  • the Kakhovka City Military Administration
  • the Kostiantynivka Village Military Administration
  • the Skadovsk City Military Administration
  • the Tavriisk City Territorial Community
  • the Myrne Village Military Administration
  • the Sievierodonetsk City Military Administration
  • the Vasylivka Territorial Community
  • the Rubizhne City Military Administration
  • the Tokmak City Military Administration
  • the Melitopol City Council

We wish the participants to gain invaluable experience for the implementation of useful projects in order to rebuild your communities!
